DePaul Announces 2010 Hall of Fame Class

The DePaul Athletics Department is set to induct six former student-athletes, the 1967 tennis team and reward a former university employee with a special service award during the annual DePaul Athletics Hall of Fame induction weekend Jan. 30-31. Hall of Fame weekend includes the men's basketball team taking on Syracuse on Jan. 30 at Allstate Arena before the women's basketball team faces Marquette on Jan. 31 at McGrath Arena.

Amy Hardison Resigns as DePaul Volleyball Coach

DePaul will make changes in the leadership of its volleyball program as head coach Amy Hardison has resigned, it was announced by athletics director Jean Lenti Ponsetto today. Hardison was head coach of the program for the last four seasons.

DePaul head volleyball coach Amy Hardison announced today that Chelsea Kirkpatrick (Indianapolis, Ind./Center Grove High School) and Natalie Rizzo (Lombard, Ill./Glenbard East High School) both signed a National Letter of Intent and will enroll at DePaul for the 2010-11 school year.

Sarah Cullen Honored in Final Match of the 2009 Season

Senior Sarah Cullen closed out her DePaul volleyball career today at McGrath Arena in the final match of the 2009 season today against Georgetown. Despite tallying a team-high 18 digs, Cullen and the Blue Demons were unable to make it past the Hoyas, and suffered a 3-1 defeat. DePaul finishes the year with a 6-23 record (0-14 BIG EAST Conference), while Georgetown concluded the season 14-16 (4-10 BIG EAST).
