Feb. 7, 2011 CHICAGO - At halftime of Tuesday's game against the Cincinnati Bearcats, the DePaul Blue Demons welcome four special guests: Hercules, Gibbs, Meerah and Luna! Brought to you by the Chicago Canine Rescue Foundation, these lovable dogs will be available for adoption throughout the game. Along with the dogs in attendance, the great people from Chicago Canine Rescue will have with them a database of the the pets that are available for adoption from their facilities. Since 2001, Chicago Canine Rescue has been saving the most vulnerable pets of Chicago through adoption and fostering these wonderful animals into pet-friendly loving homes. With the help of a volunteer staff, Chicago Canine Rescue Foundation works to give these animals a second chance by introducing them into new homes. Chicago Canine Rescue will also be on the concourse during the game with more information about pet adoption and fostering.
