CHICAGO - The first of six stops on the 2010 DePaul Coaches' Caravan is set for Monday night in Lombard at Buca Di Beppo. Men's basketball coach Oliver Purnell and softball coach Eugene Lenti will be in attendance to talk with fans and supporters about the Blue Demons as they look forward to the upcoming 2010-11 season.
Monday's event and all Coaches' Caravan stops cost just $10 per person and include appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages. A cash bar will be available at each event and the festivities get started at 7 p.m. Buca Di Beppo is located at 90 Yorktown Road in Lombard.
Following Monday's event the Caravan moves to Lizzie McNeill's in Chicago before September stops in Arlington Heights, Rosemont and Merrionette Park and the final stop on Oct. 1 in Lincolnshire. The Lizzie McNeill's event is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 26 at 400 N. McClurg Court in the River North neighborhood. All of the action starts at 6 p.m. at Lizzie McNeill's.
Due to a scheduling conflict, the Coaches' Caravan event for Arlington Heights has been changed to Wednesday, Sept. 8. It will be at Trackside at Arlington Park at 7 p.m. The event was originally scheduled for Sept. 9.
