Emergency Personnel
Certified Athletic Trainer(s) (ATC) are on site for practice and competition. Physician on site for men's and women's soccer and on call during softball competition.

In the event that no emergency personnel are present, activate EMS with a phone call to 911 or DePaul Public Safety (directions listed below).

Fixed telephone line in Wish Field press box and Sullivan Athletic Center lobby (revolving door entrance at 2323 N. Sheffield Ave.) - dial "9" for outside line. Emergency phone located on Belden Ave. (north sidewalk) at southwest corner of field (will connect to DePaul Public Safety).

Emergency Equipment
AED and first-aid supplies on home bench/dugout during practice and competition. Vacuum splints and crutches in Sullivan Athletic Center training room (on home bench during competition). Spine board and trauma kit provided by EMS when activated.

Role of First Responders
Physician and/or ATC will provide immediate care of the injured or ill student-athlete with assistance from other team personnel if necessary.

Any necessary emergency equipment will be retrieved by the ATC, physician or by other team personnel at the discretion of the team physician or ATC.

EMS will be activated by the ATC, or other team personnel at the discretion of the team physician or ATC. Specific instructions for contacting EMS are located by each telephone.

Team personnel or event management staff will meet EMS at the Belden Ave. entrance (behind south goal of Wish Field/behind first base dugout of Cacciatore Stadium) and direct them to the scene.

The event management staff will limit the scene to medical personnel and move bystanders away from the area.

Activation of emergency medical system (EMS)
- Dial 9-911 from campus phone (have second individual call DePaul Public Safety: 5-777).
- Provide dispatcher with:
   - Your name
   - Cacciatore Stadium/Wish Field address:
     900 W. Belden Ave.
     Chicago, IL 60614
   - Telephone number: 
   - Number and condition of individuals injured
   - Care being given and by whom (doctor, ATC, paramedics, etc.)

Directions to Cacciatore Stadium/Wish Field
From the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94): Exit Fullerton Avenue and head east. Follow Fullerton to Sheffield and turn right (south) on to Sheffield and follow to 2323 N. Sheffield Ave. The Sullivan Athletic Center and McGrath Arena will be on your left side.

For Wish Field and Cacciatore Stadium, continue south on Sheffield to Belden and turn left (east). The facility will be on your left side just beyond the el tracks.

From Lake Shore Drive (US-41): Exit Fullerton Avenue. Follow Fullerton to Sheffield and turn left (south) on to Sheffield and follow to 2323 N. Sheffield Ave. The Sullivan Athletic Center and McGrath Arena will be on your left side.

For Wish Field and Cacciatore Stadium, continue south on Sheffield to Belden and turn left (east). The facility will be on your left side just beyond the el tracks.

Direct EMS to Belden Ave. entrance and have someone MEET THEM THERE! STAY ON THE LINE UNTIL HELP ARRIVES.
