Mazik first began working in the DePaul Athletics Department as an Administrative Assistant in 1995.
In the Athletic Department's Development office, Mazik processes donations, updates the university's data bases to Development and helps coordinate alumni activities and events. She works with former Blue Demon athletes who are member of the D-Club and helps set up Alumni Day events for DePaul's athletic programs.
Mazik does a follow-up with donors and works on the processing through Development of acknowledgment letters.
Among her primary responsibilities is helping to organize the Minogue Golf Outing, the D-Club Golf Outing and working at the Champions Club during basketball games.
This lifelong Chicago-area resident was the 2013 recipient of the St. Louise de Marillac "Women of Spirit and Action" Award presented by the DePaul Women's Network.
She has also received a Mentor Program Certificate of Appreciation from Advancement, a Certificate of Recognition in support of Faculty/Staff Campaign and a Certificate of Recognition for Accomplishment from the university's Recognition Awards Program.
Prior to her arrival at DePaul, Mazik spent 11 years working at the Niles Park District and five years working for a real estate law firm.
