DePaul Concludes Final Day of Meyo Invitational

On the second and final day of the Meyo Invitational, the DePaul men's and women's track and field teams returned to form with several Blue Demons capturing season and career-best marks at the 48-team meet hosted by the University of Notre Dame.

Day one of the Meyo Invitational at Notre Dame's Loftus Sports Complex concluded on Friday night as sophomore Chris Miedema led the Blue Demons with a sixth place finish in the men's 500 meter dash.

DePaul Heads to Notre Dame for Meyo Invitational

The DePaul men's and women's track and field teams head out to Notre Dame, Ind., on Friday to begin the two-day Meyo Invitational hosted by the Fighting Irish. The competition is scheduled to start on Friday at 4 p.m. and continue on Saturday at 9 a.m. where the Blue Demons compete against over 40 other squads.

Nedow Takes Fourth Straight BIG EAST Weekly Award

For the fourth time this season and the fifth time in his DePaul career, senior thrower Tim Nedow has been named the BIG EAST Conference Male Field Athlete of the Week. Nedow garnered the honor after his 20.03-meter throw earned him first place at the Indiana Relays on Saturday.

A couple of familiar names to the followers of DePaul athletics emerged as the brightest stars Saturday on the final day of the Indiana Relays. Tim Nedow and Matthew Graham eclipsed DePaul indoor track records in their respective events at the Harry Gladstein Fieldhouse.
