Miedema breaks school record in winning the 800-meter run

2012-13 (Junior)
Indoor: Competed in four meets... ran a career-best 60m dash time of 7.26 at the Notre Dame Invite... placed 11th... ran a career-best time of 22.74 in the 200m dash at the Meyo Invitational... ran a time of 22.77 at the Spire Midwest Open.

Outdoor: Placed in five meets... Ran a career-best 100m dash time of 10.58 at the Chicagoland Championships... placed second... finished 12th at the BIG EAST Championships with a time of 10.89... was a BIG EAST Championship Qualifier... ran a career-low time of 22.56 in the 200m dash at the Bill Cornell Spring Classic... was a member of the 4x100m relay team that placed fourth at the BIG EAST Championships... took first at the Chicagoland Championships with a time of 41.66... placed sixth at the Drake Relays on the 4x200m relay team with a time of 1:26.94.

2011-12 (Sophomore): Was named a Coach's All American for a second consecutive year at Johnson County CC...anchored the 4x100m relay team that finished in fourth place at the NJCAA Nationals.

2010-2011 (Freshman): At Johnson County CC in Overland Park, Kan., ran on the 4x100m relay team that placed sixth at the NJCAA Nationals...was named a Coach's All American.

High School: Anchored the 4x100m relay team that placed third at the Kansas State Championships...finished second in the 200m dash at the state championships...finished sixth in the 100m dash...won the 200m dash and anchored the first-place 4x100m relay team at the Regional Championships...finished second in the 100m dash at the same meet...recipient of the first annual Chuck Sulzen scholarship.
