Competed in eight meets ... Won four shot put events including the BIG EAST Indoor Track & Field Championships (2/21 - 2/22) with a distance of 18.80m ... Competed in the NCAA Division I Track & Field Championships (3/14 - 3/15), finishing fourteenth with a distance of 18.03m ... 

2013-14 (Junior)

Indoor: Won five shot put events, including the BIG EAST Indoor Championship ... qualified for the National Indoor Championships, where he placed 14th overall ... second team All-American after his performance in the indoorchampionships.

Outdoor: Won six shot put events, including the BIG EAST Outdoor Championship ... qualifieid for the National Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore. ... won the discus at the Marquette duals on April 4.

2012-13 (Medical Redshirt)

2011-12 (Sophomore)
Indoor: Threw a career-best 17.98m in the shot put at the Notre Dame Invitational, where he finished third...placed second at the BIG EAST Championships with a throw of 17.80m...finished in second place at the Blue and Gold Invitational with a throw of 16.87m...placed third at the Badger Track Classic with a throw of 17.47m...finished in the top 10 at seven out of eight meets, including six top five finishes.

Outdoor: Won the BIG EAST Championship in the shot put with a career-best throw of 18.33m...won the FSU Relays with a throw of 16.69m...competed at eight meets and never finished lower than sixth in the shot put...placed second at the DePaul Invitational, Chicagoland Championships, and the Tom Botts Invitational...threw a career-best 49.50m in the discus throw at the Chicagoland Championships, where he took second place...finished second at the DePaul Invitational in the discus with a throw of 48.56m...threw the discus 48.94m in a third-place finish at the Oliver Nikoloff.

2010-11 (Freshman)
Indoor: Placed eighth in the shot put at the BIG EAST Championship with a personal-record distance of 16.25m...eclipsed the 15-meter mark in the shot put on six occasions...finished in fourth place behind a shot put distance of 15.91m at the Notre Dame Indoor Opener...exceeded conference qualifying standards in the weight throw at the Badger Track Classic after registering a season-best distance of 15.73m.

Outdoor: Peaked at the BIG EAST Championships with a discus throw of 48.13m to place eighth overall...qualified for the league meet in both the discus and shot put during his first appearance of the season...placed third in the discus at the Dave Rankin Invitational with a distance of 47.84m...notched a season-best shot put of 16.84m at both the Dave Rankin and Billy Hayes Invitationals...placed 11th at the BIG EAST Championship in the shot put with a throw of 15.70m.

High School: Placed eighth in the discus throw at the Class 3A IHSA Championship during his first season competing in track and field...placed third in the javelin and fifth in the shot put at the state meet the following year...set personal-record throw in the discus at 184'5" throw in the shot put recorded at 57'...two-time Mid-Suburban League and Sectional Champion...lettered in football and track and field.

Personal: Son of Mark and Angie the middle child of five siblings (Ryan, Nicole, Anthony, and Annalyse)...enrolled in the College of Commerce.
