Career Notes: Named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team in 2009.

2010-11 (Junior)
Cross Country: Ran in one race, the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational and posted a time of 20:53 in the 5K.

2009-10 (Sophomore)
Cross Country - Competed in all seven races... lowered her personal-record 5K time to 19:32 at the Notre Dame Invitational... clocked a career-best 6K time of 24:13 at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championship... completed the DePaul Opener 4 mile race in 15:48.

Indoor: Ran a career-best 3,000m time of 10:56.86 at the Chicago Duals to place fifth overall... captured a fourth-place finish at the Badger Track Classic behind a time of 11:07.37.

2008-09 (Freshman)
Cross Country: Was the Blue Demon top finisher at the AU Spartan Classic with a 5K time of 24:37... season-best 5K time came at the National Catholic Championships with a 19:49 to take 76th place overall... first DePaul runner to cross the finish line at the Ted Hedstrand Invitational with a 5K time of 20:33.

Indoor: Recorded an 800m time of 2:44.99 at the Chicago Duals... logged a time of 11:22.91 in the 3,000m at the Bob Eubanks Open... ran the opening leg of the distance medley at the Chicago Duals to help earn a time of 13:48.21.

Outdoor: Placed 10th in the 5,000m at the Chicago Penultimate with a time of 19:12.44... lowered her personal-record time in the 5,000m to 19:11.38 at the Marquette Twilight.

High School: Personal-best 4K time of 15:01... named to the all-state honorable mention cross country team in 2006... cross country team MVP in 2005 and 2007... 3,200m time of 11:42.00... Fox Valley Association all-conference member in 2005, 2006, and 2007... academic all-state honors in 2005, 2006, and 2007.

Personal: Daughter of Stephen and Sandria Schmitz... has three younger sisters, Megan, Katie, and Emily... enrolled in the College of Commerce.
