PISCATAWAY, N.J. - DePaul set a pair of school records and scored points in almost every event the Blue Demons competed in Sunday at the finals of the BIG EAST Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

The women's 4x100-meter relay team of Tayler Whittler, Loreal Curtis, Kayla Schwarz and Ayesha Ewing set a new standard with a time of 46.44, finishing seventh.

Lindsey Holden, Ewing, Whittler and Curtis teamed up in the 4x400m to establish a new school record of 3:44.47 in finishing eighth.

Jordon Vaughn came in fourth in the men's 100-meter dash and joined Joe Turner, Mac Melto and Brandon Threats for a fourth-place finish in the men's 4x100m.

Eddie McDaniel, Ian Sanchez, Max Clink and Chris Miedema finished fourth in the men's 4x800m.

By virtue of his third-place finish in Saturday's high jump, Durrell McDonald made the BIG EAST All-Conference Team.

"Even though they didn't break a school record, the 4x800 ran an impressive race," said DePaul track and field coach Dave Dopek. "It was great to see Max Clink go out with such a fantastic leg on the relay. He did incredible.

"It was great for Jordon to qualify for the finals in the 100 and battle it out with those other top guys after he missed on qualifying last year.

"The fact that all four relays scored today is a sign we're moving forward. We left some opportunities on the track that we wish we could get back, but we'll regroup and work hard for next year's conference meet."

DePaul will compete in the Cardinal Twilight meet Friday in Louisville, Ky.
