Kennedy and Reed Pace Men's Track and Field
Complete Results CHICAGO – First-place finishes by Gavin Kennedy and Robert Reed led the men’s indoor track and field team at the Chicago Pentangular on Saturday. The Blue Demons placed fourth in the meet on Saturday. Kennedy and Anthony Becknek placed first and second, respectively, in the mile while Reed won the weight throw. Reed led the field events with his winning distance of 13.37 meters in the weight throw. He outdistanced Pat Reeden of UIC with a throw of 12.96 meters. Reed also finished fifth in the shot put DePaul continues the indoor season next Saturday at the Carthage College Invitational in Kenosha, Wis. Chicago Pentangular Team Standings
