David Kaiser Named To Track & Field Staff
CHICAGO - David Kaiser has been named an assistant track & field coach it was announced today by DePaul head coach Gordon Thomson. Kaiser will work with both the men's and women's throwing events. "I am very pleased that David has joined our staff," Thomson said. "David brings a wealth of knowledge and a background of success with him. He will be a tremendous addition to the DePaul program." A 15-year veteran of NCAA Division I track and field coaching, Kaiser comes to DePaul after spending the past three seasons at Purdue where he helped the Boilermaker program produce eight All-Americans, 10 school records, six Big Ten records and 10 Big Ten champions. He also helped guide the women's team to the 1999 Big Ten outdoor title and the 2001 indoor crown. Prior to Purdue, Kaiser coached Wake Forest, Clemson and Kansas. -DPU-
