Rygh Performance Highlights Women's Track & Field In Wisconsin
MADISON, Wis. – Leah Rygh became the first DePaul women’s track and field athlete to run the mile in under five minutes en route to a school record performance on Saturday at the Badger Track Classic.
Rygh won the mile with a time of 4:48.12, nearly two seconds ahead of her competition.
DePaul also got a first place finish from Diana Runnels in the 200 meter dash as she recorded a personal best of 25.62. Susan Stoffel finished second in the weight throw with a personal best toss of 51’ 3 ľ”.
