Women's Track Sets Sights Another Successful Weekend
The women’s track team travels to Kenosha, Wis. for the Carthage College Division Invite this Saturday. Last weekend the Blue Demons made a great showing at the Badger Track Classic that included a DePaul record-breaking mile run.
Leah Rygh became the first woman Blue Demon to run the mile under five minutes. Rygh finished at 4:48.12 and in first place.
Also, Diana Runnels claimed first place in the 200-meter dash at 25.62.
Rygh and Runnels will make efforts, along with their teammates, to top last weekend’s times this Saturday.
