Track and Field Boasts Second Place
The Blue Demons earned second place honors at the Carthage College Division I Invite on Saturday. Six first place spots helped the men’s team accumulate 127 points and top honors.
Jamal Cornelious – first place in the 55-meter dash (6.54s)
Enoete Inanga – first place in the 400-meter dash (48.77s)
Ben Cooke – first place in the 800-meter run (1:55.96)
Luis Samayoa – first place in the one mile run (4:18.00)
Samayoa, Cooke, Kai Murray, and Kim Trieu – first place in the distance medley (10:33.10)
Jarrod Jahnke – first place in the weight throw (54’07Ľ)
