Track and Field to Compete in Hoosier Open

DePaul’s weekend begins with Lindsey Deason competing in the Pentathlon on Friday, starting at noon. That evening will see Jamie Holifield and Erika Lockhart in the women’s shot put, Patrick Smith in the men’s 60m hurdles, and Anthony Becknek, Brian Godar, and Ryan Solomon in the men’s 3,000m run.
Competition resumes Saturday at noon with Ryan Thompson in the men’s long jump, Tamara Burris, Holifield, Lockhart and Laurel Mazar in the women’s weight throw, and Webster Jones in the men’s high jump.
Allyson Petersen, who took first place and set a personal best time in the 500m last week hopes to repeat her success in the women’s 400m this week. In addition, Gabe Harris, who set an NCAA provisional qualifying time in the men’s 400m last week, will compete in the men’s 200m and men’s 4x400m relay.
DePaul will also compete in the women’s and men’s mile runs, the men’s 400m, the men’s 60m, the women’s high jump, the men’s and women’s 600m, the women’s 200m, the women’s 5,000m and the women’s 4x400m relay.
