Indoor Track and Field Teams Split Up This Weekend
CHICAGO – Members of the DePaul indoor track and field teams will compete at two meets this weekend at Lewis University and Iowa State University. The Lewis University Invitational takes place on Friday evening in Romeoville, Ill., while the Iowa State Classic runs Friday and Saturday in Ames, Iowa. The Lewis Invitational starts with the field events at 4 p.m. on Friday. Twenty student-athletes will represent DePaul at the meet that concludes with running events at 5 p.m. The two-day Iowa State Classic starts on Friday afternoon with field events at the Lied Recreation Center. A total of 25 members of the men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams will travel to Ames, Iowa. On Saturday, a full day of events starts with the 3000-meter run and finishes with the 4x400-meter relays.
