Matthew Graham Sets DePaul 5,000m Record
NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Sophomore Matthew Graham was the sole DePaul student-athlete to run on day one of the Alex Wilson Invitational, running in the 5,000m. The sophomore made his race count, recording his second DePaul school record of the indoor season.
Graham clocked a time of 14:28.31, to better Matt Plano's nine year old record of 14:32.22. Overall, the sophomore place 18th.
Graham now holds both indoor distance records for the Blue Demons, having earned his first all-time best at the Indiana Relays with a 3,000m time of 8:18.22.
The Blue Demons return to action tomorrow, when student-athletes compete at both the final day of the Alex Wilson Invitational and the Iowa State NCAA Qualifier.
