Mary Cate Quiett Sets New School Record
NOTRE DAME, Ind. Mary Cate Quiett broke her own DePaul record in the 800m today at the Alex Wilson Invitational. Stephanie Williams also competed, placing second in the 200m, Quiett placed 11th overall in the 800m with a time of 2:10.00. Her previous record in the event was 2:11.34, which she set last season. Williams finished in second place with a 200m time of 25:04. The senior set ends her indoor career with a personal-best time of 24.49. The Alex Wilson Invitational marks the end of the 2008-09 indoor season. The team moves outdoors beginning March 27-28, when the travel to Arlington, Texas for the Bobby Lane Invitational.
