Blue Demon Track & Field to Compete in Chicagoland Championships

The Blue Demons are coming off a stellar weekend at the Elmhurst College Invite. The women grabbed three first place titles along with seven second place finishes. Three individual titles were also earned on the men’s side.
Erica Scott notched the first place spot in the 400 meter dash finishing in 1:00.45. Dominating the hammer throw was Jamie Holifield, whose 46.16m (151’5.00”) launch landed her in the top spot. Kayla Burks made a 1.65m (5’5.00”) leap to win first in the high jump.
For the men, Rich Fugiel took the 400 meter dash with a 50.16 time. In the field, Rashard Deleston was victorious in the triple jump covering a distance of 14.10m (46’3.25”). Dave Boduch topped the javelin throw with a 49.20m (161’5.00”) toss.
Following the Chicagoland Championships, the Blue Demons will get set for both the Wheaton Invitational and the 47th Mt. SAC Relays. The squad participating in the Wheaton Invitational will compete on April 16th in
