Warner and Boduch Compete on Day One of C-USA Championships

HOUSTON – In early action at the first day of the Conference USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Donnie Warner placed 13th in the 10,000 meters and Dave Boduch took ninth place in the javelin.

Boduch placed ninth in the javelin with a throw of 49.01 meters (163’9”).  Conrad Chanove of Southern Miss won the event with a distance of 68.18 meters (223’8”).  Warner was 13th in the 10,000 meters with a time of 33:21.38.  Louisville’s Wesley Korir won the race in a time of 30”53.32.

Day two features field events starting at 2 p.m. followed by the track events at 4:30 p.m.  All tracks events will be preliminaries except for the 3,000-meter steeplechase to finish the day.
