Women's Track & Field Reap Academic Awards

Three individuals earn honors and team ranks among nation’s top 20 in rankings released this week.

CHICAGO – Three members of the DePaul women’s track and field team were honored by the National Collegiate Division I Track Coaches Association for being among the nation’s best in grade point average it was announced this week.

Leah Rygh, who recorded a grade point average of 3.672, Megan Greeley (3.540) and Erin Moffett (3.258) were all honored on the All-Academic Team.

The Blue Demons as a squad posted the 18^th-best team grade point average in the nation with a 3.243 during the 2002-03 academic year.
