The DePaul men's team placed 11th while the women finished 20th at the prestigious meet.


DePaul Cross Country at National Catholic Championships

Assistant coach Leah Bohr and junior Paige Skorseth talk about the races at the National Catholic Championships and major takeaways from their time in South Bend.

Leah Bohr, a former DePaul student-athlete, joined the Blue Demon Staff in early January of 2011. Bohrhas workedprimarily with the cross country teams in the fall and the distance runners during the track and field seasons.

Bohr ran at DePaul from 2000-2004. She earned Academic All-American and Conference USA All-Conference honors in her senior season. During the 2004 season, Bohr was the C-USA Champion in the indoor mile and in the outdoor 1500m. She currently holds DePaul school records in the indoor mile and the outdoor 1500m with times of 4:46 and 4:27.

After her successful collegiate career, Bohr was a teacher for four years and then worked as a graduate assistant in the DePaul athletics department in 2009.
