Birchall Third At Lakefront Invitational

Birchall finishes third overall to help DePaul place fifth.

CHICAGO - DePaul's Chris Birchall finished third overall at the annual Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational on Saturday at Montrose Beach.

DePaul finished fifth as a team.

Birchall, a senior from Leeds, England, clocked a 24:53 to earn third. The Blue Demons also got a 13th place finish from Larry Vonckx in 25:32 while Luis Samoya was 30th in 25:52.
