TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The DePaul cross country squad continues its season on Sunday as the men’s and women’s teams travel to Terre Haute, Ind., for the Pre-National Invitational hosted by Indiana State University.

The meet,  held on the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country course, will beg, is scheduled for an 11 a.m. start with the men's 8,000 meter race. The women's 6,000 meter race is set for an 11:40 a.m. start, while gates open for spectators at 9 a.m.

The DePaul men’s side is led by senior Matthew Graham who has already nabbed two BIG EAST Conference Male Cross Country Athlete of the Week awards this season. The initial honor coincided with a first place finish at the UIC Home Opener and the second honor came after Graham took home first place in the prestigious National Catholic Championship where he won by a 20-second margin.

Also running on the men’s side for DePaul are Chris Miedema, Ian Sanchez, Zak Koronkiewicz and Tyler Schmitt who have each logged successful finishes in meets this season.

On the women’s side, DePaul is led by a duo of seniors and a duo of freshmen. Toni Salvatore and Kelly Pickering are the veteran runners for the Blue Demons while Jacqueline Kasal and Danielle Hernando lead the young DePaul pack.

The LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country course will also serve as the home of the 2011 NCAA Cross Country National Championship race.
