Moffet Earns All-Region Honors

Sophomore paces Blue Demon women’s cross country to highest NCAA Regional finish in over a decade.

CARBONDALE, IL – Erin Moffett finished in 23^rd place overall and the Blue Demons took 14^th as a team at the annual NCAA Midwest Regional Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Southern Illinois.

Moffett, a sophomore from Lake Zurich, Ill., took 23^rd in 21:52.6 to earn All-Region honors for the first time in her brief Blue Demon career.

As a team, DePaul took 14^th which was the program’s best finish since the 1991 season.

Marlene Key was second for DePaul and 75^th overall in 23:03.1
