Today In Blue Demon History:

On January 10th 2006, DePaul senior forward Khara Smith was named the BIG EAST Player of the Week after leading the Blue Demons to a pair of league victories over Pittsburgh and Marquette. The two-time All-American scored 29 points in each game and grabbed a total of 24 rebounds for the week. Click Here for the full story.

D-CLUB DAY: All D-Club members are entitled to a pair of complimentary tickets for the the men's and women's basketball games on January 19.  Sports Reports:

Women's Basketball Brittany Hrynko scored 17 points, but it was not enough as the DePaul women's basketball team dropped a 65-45 BIG EAST Conference game at Villanova on Wednesday. The loss snaps DePaul's six-game winning streak, while the Wildcats stay unbeaten on their home court. Click Here for the full story.

DePaul head women's basketball coach Doug Bruno announced on Wednesday that sophomore guard Megan Rogowski will miss 4-6 weeks with a broken right hand. Rogowski injured her hand in DePaul's 86-80 win over Louisville on Saturday. Click Here for the full story.

Men's Soccer:Antonio Aguilar is finishing off his Blue Demon men's soccer career with a flourish.
On Wednesday, Aguilar was selected to the All-Great Lakes Region Second Team by the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America). It marks the second year in a row Aguilar has been named to that all-region team. Click Here for the full story.
