Today In Blue Demon History:
On January 29 2010, Five Blue Demons reached double-digits as the DePaul women's basketball team topped Cincinnati 71-63 in BIG EAST Conference action at McGrath Arena. Katherine Harry tallied her fourth career double-double as the freshman finished with 15 points and tied a career-high with 18 rebounds. The freshman leads the Blue Demons with 8.0 boards per contest while Harry grabbed a season-high 10 offensive rebounds in a night where she shined in the paint. Click Here for the full story.

BLUE DEMON DAY THIS SATURDAY To get ready for Blue Demon Day on Feb. 2, DePaul's alumni relations department is hosting a t-shirt swap this week on the University's Lincoln Park and Loop campuses. The DePaul women's basketball team returns to Lincoln Park and the hardwood on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. BIG EAST Conference game with Pittsburgh. The tilt will be carried live in Chicago on The U Too (WCIU-DT2) with Dave Bernhard (play-by-play) and Patricia Babcock McGraw (analyst) calling all the action. DePaul was picked to finish fourth in the BIG EAST Conference Softball preseason poll while USF has been tabbed the preseason favorite by the league's 13 head coaches.The Blue Demons recorded one first-place vote and 117 points. Since joining the BIG EAST in 2006, DePaul has captured three regular-season titles. The Blue Demons finished fifth in the league last season with a 14-8 record and 36-22 overall mark.
