Today In Blue Demon History:

On January 31 2001,  Men's basketball player Joe Tulley scored a career-high 23 points as DePaul ended a six-game Conference-USA losing streak with an 86-68 victory over Saint Louis.Tulley, a sophomore who entered with a 4.6-point average, has scored 62 points the last four games and 43 the rest of the season. He was 3-for-4 from 3-point range and 6-for-9 overall to top his previous best of 18. Click Here for the full story.

BLUE DEMON DAY THIS SATURDAY To get ready for Blue Demon Day on Feb. 2, DePaul’s alumni relations department is hosting a t-shirt swap this week on the University’s Lincoln Park and Loop campuses. The inaugural Blue Demon Day is Saturday, Feb. 2 when the men’s basketball team faces Notre Dame. Click Here for more information.

 In a classic back-and-forth battle between DePaul and St. John’s, the Red Storm outlasted the Blue Demons in a 79-74 overtime decision on Wednesday night at Carnesecca Arena. Brandon Young led four players in double-figures with a game-high 21 points while Cleveland Melvin added a 13-rebound, 10-point double-double.Click Here for the full story.
