Today In Blue Demon History:
On January 31 2001, The DePaul women's basketball team improved on their best start ever in Conference USA play with a 66-56 win over Marquette at the DePaul Athletic Center. DePaul (14-7, 7-1 C-USA) trailed 29-21 at the half, but outscored Marquette (13-8, 6-2 C-USA), 45-27, in the second stanza to pick up their seventh win in the last eight games.
