Today In Blue Demon History:
On February 7, 2001, Men's basketball player Joe Tulley made six 3-pointers, one shy of the school record, for a second time this year and Steven Hunter scored 21 points as DePaul survived a scare to beat Houston 90-78.Tulley, who also had six 3s in DePaul's victory over Temple, finished with 22 points. Hunter had eight blocks, tying Walter Downing for the school's second-best single-game record. Lance Williams added 17 points for the Blue Demons (11-11, 3-7 Conference USA), and Bobby Simmons had 16 points and 16 rebounds.Click Here for the full story.

Jasmine Penny set the tone early, and the rest of the Blue Demons followed her lead Tuesday night at McGrath-Phillips Arena.Penny connected on her first seven shots en route to scoring a career-high 29 points in DePaul’s 74-48 BIG EAST Conference victory over Seton Hall. Penny was a sizzling 12-of-15 from the floor while also contributing six rebounds, four assists and two steals.DePaul (17-6, 6-3 in the BIG EAST) won its 12th in a row at home behind a game-defining 19-1 run in the second half.
