Brown averaged a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds per game, while shooting .714 from the field to lead DePaul to a pair of home wins the previous week. On Feb. 3, his second game back after a nine-contest hiatus with a sore knee, Brown helped the Blue Demons to a 72-58 victory over Tulane with career-high tying 24 points, while grabbing 12 rebounds. That past weekend, he posted his eighth double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds. The Chicago native was just two points shy of 1,000 points in his DePaul career and he would become the just 10th player in school history to record 1,000 points and 700 rebounds.
