Today In Blue Demon History:
On February 15, 2006, Khara Smith's 24 points and 18 rebounds led DePaul to a 64-58 win over Georgetown at McDonough Arena. In the process, Smith became DePaul's all-time leading rebounder as she finished the evening with 1,274 career boards. The 17-year old record was previously held by Diana Vines who collected 1,269 rebounds from 1985-89.Click Here for the full story.

Track and Field: DePaul is ready for some fast times this weekend at the BIG EAST Indoor Track & Field Championships in Geneva, Ohio.The Spire Institute indoor track and field complex will host the 13 teams in the men's field and 14 in the women's field beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Softball:When you play softball at DePaul, expect to face the best.That's what awaits the Blue Demons beginning Friday at the Hilton Houston Plaza Invite.When DePaul (4-1) takes on No. 6/6 Texas (6-0) at 10 a.m., there's a good chance Texas All-American ace Blaire Luna will be in the pitching circle. Luna is 2-0 with a 1.50 earned-run average and is averaging two strikeouts per inning.Click Here for the full story.
Volleyball:DePaul volleyball head coach Nadia Edwards announced the hiring of Caitlyn Vann as an assistant coach on Thursday, February 14. Vann spent the last season as a volunteer assistant at the University of California, Berkeley. Click Here for the full story.
Women's Tennis: Coming off a successful home stand, No. 71 DePaul women's tennis puts a five-match winning streak on the line this weekend when the team heads north to face Marquette on Friday in Milwaukee, Wisc. After a quick turnaround, the Blue Demons will travel to East Lansing, Mich. for a Sunday tilt against Michigan State.
