Today In Blue Demon History:

On March 20 2011, Led by Felicia Chester’s double-double, the third seeded DePaul women’s basketball team overcame a slow start and topped Navy 56-43 to advance to the second round for first time since 2006.The Blue Demons (28-6) stuck to their game plan and made Navy uncomfortable as the Mids had to move inside the 3-point line to score.  Navy, who averages 7.6 3-pointers per game, mustered just four while DePaul’s defense forced 23 turnovers and scored 20 points off those turnovers.Using their size, DePaul went to Katherine Harry (10 points), Chester (12 points) and Keisha Hampton (nine points) to spark their offense and outscore the Navy 32-18 in the paint .Click Here for the full story.
