Today In Blue Demon History:

On April 19th, 2010, DePaul sophomore Michael Furci held his lead for the second straight day and was alone at the top of the leaderboard heading into the final 18 holes of the BIG EAST Championship. Furci carded an even-par 71 and held a one-stroke advantage over Georgetown's Vincenzo Salina at the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club. Click here for the full story.

Women's Tennis: Receving dominant performances from a trio of freshmen, DePaul women's tennis cruised in the day's third match at the 2013 BIG EAST Women's Tennis Championship with a 4-0 win over Providence to advance to the quarterfinals on Thursday at the USF Varsity Courts. Track & Field: Jackie Kasal went out and ran her best race of the outdoor season Thursday at the prestigious Mt. SAC Relays. With some of the top Division I track and field teams in the country converging on Mt. San Antonio College's Hilmer Lodge Stadium, the DePaul sophomore came in fourth in the 3000-meter steeplechase. Her time of 10:37.98 was a career best, easily surpassing the 10:47.20 clocking she had at last year's Cardinal Twilight meet in Louisville, Ky. Click here for the full story.
