Today In Blue Demon History
On August 30th, 2009 the DePaul women's soccer team obtained their biggest regular season win ever when they upset No.11 Missouri on the road. DePaul won 1-0, with the loan goal scored by Shannon Williams in the 24th minute of the first half. In the 2009 campaign, not only did the team defeat two nationally ranked opponents for the first time, but they also went on to their first BIG EAST conference tournament.

Mens and Womens Basketball: DePaul basketball coaches Oliver Purnell and Doug Bruno will throw out the first pitch and sing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" during the seventh-inning stretch at Wrigley Field during the Chicago Cubs' game on Thursday versus the Milwaukee Brewers. BIDS Auction Item of the Day
An original DePaul athletics promotional poster autographed by Dave Corzine. The poster was created prior ro the historic 1977-78 season. Corzine ended his All-America caliber career among DePaul's all-time leading rebounders and scorers, finishing No. 1 and No. 3 respectively. He led the Blue Demons to two NCAA tournaments, including an Elite Eight appearance in 1978. Corzine went on to play in the NBA from 1978-91. Click Here to bid now!
The womens soccer team hit the road this week when they head to Dayton, Ohio, to take on Wright State on Friday and the University of Dayton on Sunday.
The womens volleyball team DePaul heads to Tennessee to play in the UT Martin Invitational and will play Wright State, Troy and UT Martin during the two-day tournament, Aug. 31-Sept. 1.
The mens soccer team faces Western Michigan at 1pm on Saturday at Wish Field.
