Today In Blue Demon History:

On October 4th 2010, DePaul Women's Soccer player Lauren Pagone was honored with her first BIG EAST weekly conference award. The senior midfielder was named to the BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll, signifying that she was among the league’s top performers the previous week that season.“It’s very exciting, and I didn’t really expect it,” said Pagone after her tying goal and golden goal led the Blue Demons to a 2-1, double-overtime victory over St. John’s the previous Friday at Wish Field at Cacciatore Stadium. Click Here for the full story on Pagone's accomplishment in the 2010 season.

Jeremiah Kelly played in 94 career games with 65 starts. Kelly played five career games of 40 or more minutes. He is  ranked 13th in DePaul history with 317 three-point field goal attempts,  ranked 14th with 102 three-pointers,  tied for 21st with 119 career steals, and ranked 23rd with 250 career assists. Kelly is the first freshman to lead the team in assists in a season since Jabari Currie in 2005-06. Jeremiah finished 16 career games in double-figures. Sports Report:

Women's Tennis:  Jasmin Kling and Patricia Fargas saw their doubles run come to an end on Wednesday, falling against Tennessee's 34th-ranked Brynn Boren and Kata Szekely, 8-3, at the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships. "It was great to beat the 25th and 40th-ranked teams," said head coach Mark Ardizzone. "Playing together for the first time, it was a great effort." Click Here for the full story. 

Men's Soccer: Two first-half goals and a late own goal sent the DePaul men’s soccer team to its third BIG EAST Conference loss of the season on Wednesday night at Louisville. Despite a career-best 13 saves fromEric Sorby, the Blue Demons fell 3-0 to the host Cardinals to move their record to 3-8-1 on the year and 0-3 in league play. Click Here for the full story. 

Men's Golf: When it comes to a Ryder Cup experience, Brad Stephens and Russell Budd certainly made the most of their weekend at Medinah Country Club. Those two DePaul golfers along with teammates John PavelkoMoritz AckerhansJan Juelicher and Moritz Hausweiler served as walking scorers during Team Europe’s improbable and dramatic comeback victory over the USA. Click Here for the team's full behind the scenes experience at this years Ryder Cup.
