Basketball Open Practice Tomorrow!

The DePaul basketball teams open the doors to McGrath-Phillips Arena on Saturday afternoon for the annual open practice. The practice gives season ticket holders, students, fans and alumni the chance to get a preview of the men's and women's basketball teams as they get ready for the upcoming season.

2012 Open Practice - Saturday, Oct. 13
Noon - Doors Open to Hall of Fame Foyer for season ticket pick up and the Blue Demons Tradition Store
Noon-2 p.m. - Women's basketball open practice
1:15-1:45 p.m. - Men's basketball autograph session
2-3 p.m. - Men's basketball open practice
2:10-2:30 p.m. - Women's basketball autograph session

Today In Blue Demon History:

On October 12th 2004 All five DePaul golfers finished in the top 16 and the Blue Demons rolled to win the title at the annual Ironhorse Intercollegiate at the Ironhorse Golf Club. The team title was the first for DePaul under current Head Coach Betty Kaufmann. Click Here for the full story.

Cross Country: DePaul encounters a rugged cross country field Friday at the Bradley Classic in Downstate Peoria.The favorite in the men's 8K race that starts at 4:25 p.m. at the Newman Golf Course is Illinois, which is ranked No. 8 in the Midwest Region by the United State Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Women's Soccer: Coming off a big 1-0 shutout over visiting Seton Hall on Sunday at Wish Field, the DePaul women’s soccer team takes to the road this weekend for two crucial BIG EAST Conference matches. The Blue Demons first head to Villanova for a 2 p.m. CT match on Friday. DePaul is then set to take on No. 11 Georgetown on Sunday at noon. Click Here for the full story on the upcoming matches.

Men's Soccer: On Tuesday afternoon, the DePaul men’s soccer team came away with a draw. On Friday night, it hopes to come away with its first BIG EAST Conference win when the Blue Demons head to New Jersey to take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Women's Tennis: Fresh off a sparkling season debut two weekends ago, which saw the team go 26-5 overall in singles, the DePaul women's tennis will stay close to home again to compete at the 2012 Wildcat Invitational at the Vandy Christie and Combe Tennis Centers on the campus of Northwestern.
