What is your greatest memory as a Blue Demon? My greatest memory was Senior night against UCONN. Although we lost the game, I never felt more united and close with my teammates as I did that night. It was a special time to experience with the four other seniors (Missy Mitidiero, Caprice Smith, Ciara Johnson, and Erin Carney) Did you have an opportunity to travel around Europe? I’ve had the amazing opportunity to travel to some pretty cool places in Europe during my free time. I toured London and Paris last year with some friends. Over the summer, I was able to see Venice, Salzburg, Vienna, and Budapest with my parents. Most recently, I visited Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland. Each of these places were unique and unforgettable. How do you like the food in Slovakia? I like it. I will try almost anything. A typical Slovakian meal would be cabbage soup and a main dish of pork/chicken with potatoes. A common side of Slovakia cuisine is called “Halusky” and it consists of dumplings mixed with fried bacon. What do you miss the most about being in the United States? I miss being able to see my family and friends everyday the most. I also miss my sister’s dog DEXTER! Did you have a chance to follow Blue Demon basketball this season? Yes! I always follow the Blue Demons and keep in contact with some of the girls. I can’t wait to see a game over Christmas! Favorites: Movie: Good Will Hunting Book: Where we Belong Author: Emily Griffin |
