Today In Blue Demon History:
On December 10th, 2002, the women's basketball team improved to 6-0 on the season with a 98-57 win at Manhattan. For just the third time in the 30th season of DePaul’s women’s basketball a team is 6-0 to start the season. Four players reached double-figures in the win led by Khara Smith’s 23 points and nine rebounds.Click Here for the full story.

Men's Basketball: The kind of basketball Oliver Purnell envisions for his program was on full display Sunday at Allstate Arena. Playing its most complete game of the season, DePaul rolled past Milwaukee 84-50 behind a collaborative effort that extended across the entire spectrum of the team while winning its fourth in a row.Donnavan Kirk equaled his career high with 14 points while Brandon Young and a rejuvenated Jamee Crocketteach contributed 13 points and Cleveland Melvin added 11. Women's Basketball: Despite double-figure scoring performances from Jasmine Penny, Anna Martin and Brittany Hrynko the DePaul women’s basketball team dropped a 96-64 contest at No. 7/6 Kentucky on Friday. Click Here for the full story.
The DePaul women’s basketball team returns to Lincoln Park and hosts Milwaukee on Tuesday. The game tips at Noon and has been designated "Field Trip Day" for Chicagoland elementary students at McGrath-Phillips Arena. Track and Field:
In its first meet of the 2012-13 indoor track and field season, the DePaul Blue Demons were led by a young core that included a assembly of freshman along with some Blue and Gold Invitational veterans.
Among some of the more notable performances on the women’s side at the Notre Dame-hosted event was University Park native and freshman Tayler Whittler, who picked up BIG EAST Conference qualifying times in her collegiate debut when she ran a second-place time of 25.14 in the 200-meter dash. Whittler also notched a 7.83-second, fifth-place time in the 60-meter. Click Here for the full story.
