Career Notes: Played in 65 career games with 16 starts... tied for fourth on DePaul's all-time three-point field goal percentage list with a career mark of .411 (37-90)... signed with DePaul on April 12, 2012... also high jumps as a member of the DePaul track and field team... finished second at the 2014 BIG EAST Outdoor Track and Field Championship and third at the 2013 conference outdoor meet... match his career-best height of 2.08 meters at the 2014 championships.

2013-14 (Sophomore): Played in all 33 games with seven starts... one of two players to play in every game... averaged 19.6 minutes per game... shot .415 (27-65) from three-point range... six games in double-figures... ranked among BIG EAST leaders in all games for steals (13th - 1.1 spg)... in league games only, ranked in steals (t14th - 1.1 spg)... second on the team with 37 steals... eight points, four assists, three rebounds at St. John's... 15 points, three boards against Seton Hall... 13 points and four rebounds against Marquette... eight points, three rebounds at Providence... nine points, two rebounds at Creighton... 14 points at Seton Hall... nine points, three boards, three assists at Marquette... five points, four steals, three rebounds at Northwestern... 10 points at Illinois State... eight points, two assists and two steals against Chicago State... 11 points against Arizona State with a career-high six steals... scored eight points against Texas... eight points in nine minutes off the bench at Milwaukee... opened season with 10 points against Grambling State.

2012-13 (Freshman): Played in all 32 games with starts in nine games... averaged 11.1 minutes per game... 12 points, three assists against Seton Hall... six points against Milwaukee, Fairfield and Loyola-Chicago... scored nine points against Austin Peay with two steals, two rebounds... made DePaul debut with seven points, two assists against UC Riverside... one of two players on roster during the season from Las Vegas with Moses Morgan.

High School: Earned first team Class 4A All-State honors from the Las Vegas Review-Journal after averaging 21.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game as a senior... led Green Valley to Class 4A state semifinals with a 32-point game in the regional championship... named West region Player of the Week by ESPN.com following the 32-point effort... the Gators started the season at 4-11 before McDonald led the team to 13 wins in 14 games en route to the state semifinals... earned MVP honors for the Sunrise Region and All-Southeast League Team... played for Lorenzo Jarvis at Green Valley... also one of the nation's top prep high jumpers with a personal best mark of 7-0 as a senior... that height was ranked seventh in the nation in 2012... won the Nevada state high jump as a sophomore and was runner-up as a senior... spent junior year in Mississippi and claimed a 2011 Class 2A state title with Piney Woods High School... averaged 7.8 points and 6.5 assists per game... the Tornados finished the season with a 29-3 record after defeating Bruce, 64-48, in the championship game... also won the Mississippi state high jump title during junior year... played AAU basketball for Mitch Mitchell and Mad Moves Inc. and Wesley Reed and Henderson Heat.

Personal: Son of Darryl McDonald and Vernessa Reed... has five brothers and three sisters... brothers are Redale, Carl, Darryl Jr., Derrick and Darren... sisters are Denisha, Ericka and Dakota... father played at Texas A&M from 1986-88 and professionally in the CBA from 1990-93 before a career from 1994-2008 in Australia's NBL... also led a successful coaching career in the NBL... majoring in Communication and Media.
