DePaul is 7-2 after beating Western Carolina 82-62 on Tuesday at the Allstate Arena. Loyola-Chicago is 5-8 after topping Youngstown State 75-59 on Tuesday at the Gentile Center in Chicago.


Neither team is mentioned in either the Associated Press or ESPN/USA Today Top 25 polls.


DePaul leads the all-time series 34-17. The last meeting between the two schools was on February 21, 1996 (a 79-65 DePaul win at Alumni Hall). The last time these two teams met in Rosemont was on February 7, 1995 (a 96-73 DePaul win). The last Rambler victory (70-69) came on January 21, 1989 at Chicago’s International Amphitheater.


DePaul’s Dave Leitao is in his first season with the Blue Demons and is 7-2. Dave is 29-37 in three seasons as a head coach and has never faced Loyola-Chicago. Larry Farmer is in his 11th season as a head coach, including the last five at Loyola-Chicago. He is 147-151 overall and 51-74 with the Ramblers. He is 2-3 against the Blue Demons.
