DePaul Hosts Marquette On Saturday
DePaul is 7-8 overall and 0-4 in C-USA after losing 89-72 at Cincinnati on Wednesday. Marquette is 14-3 overall and 3-1 in C-USA after beating UAB 67-59 on Tuesday in Milwaukee.
Marquette is receiving votes in both the Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today Top 25 polls. DePaul is not mentioned in either poll.
Marquette leads series 53-40... DePaul and Marquette have played each other for 43-straight seasons, the longest current running rivalry in DePaul history... the 93 games between the two schools are the most DePaul has played any opponent... Marquette swept both meetings last season, winning for the second consecutive time at the Allstate Arena... DePaul's last victory in the series came in February 2000 at the Bradley Center.
DePaul’s Pat Kennedy is in his 22nd season as a head coach and his fifth with the Blue Demons. He has a 391-265 career record, including a 65-74 slate with the Blue Demons.
