CHICAGO - DePaul returns to Wintrust Arena for a Saturday matinee against the Butler Bulldogs. The Blue Demons look to snap a two-game skid at 1 p.m. in the South Loop.

Saturday's game will be televised on FS1 with Aaron Goldsmith (play-by-play) and Dickie Simpkins (analyst) handling the television duties. Butler is 13-7 overall this season and 3-4 in BIG EAST action following a 70-60 loss at Providence on Monday afternoon. The Blue Demons stand at 8-10 overall and 1-5 in league play following a 70-52 loss at Marquette on Monday night. DePaul head coach Dave Leitao is in his sixth season at DePaul and his third since returning to the program after leading the Blue Demons three postseasons in three years from 2002-05. Overall, the 2017-18 campaign is Leitao's 12th as a head coach at the collegiate level. Butler is led by LaVall Jordan who is in his first season leading the Bulldogs.

Saturday Designated as Pink Game: Saturday's BIG EAST game between DePaul and Butler has been designated as a "Pink Game" and the first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a pink t-shirt to help raise awareness of breast cancer research. During the 12-minute media time out of the second half, fans will have the opportunity to recognize and support friends and family members with an "I Cheer For" moment similar to Major League Baseball's Stand Up To Cancer at the All-Star Game.

Noting the Blue Demons: The men's basketball program is 1,445-997 (.592) all-time... the Blue Demons have knocked down at least one three-pointer in 757 straight games... DePaul's last game without a three was Feb. 16, 1993 (Saturday's game vs. Butler will be 24 years, 338 days) against UAB at Allstate Arena... the current streak started against Notre Dame on Feb. 21, 1993... DePaul is playing every home game under the same roof for the first time since the 2009-10 season... the last seven seasons have seen the Blue Demons play home games at Allstate Arena and McGrath-Phillips Arena... The Series: Saturday is the 15th all-time meeting between the two programs... Butler leads the series, 8-6... Butler has won seven straight in the series including two wins last season... the Bulldogs posted a 70-69 overtime decision on Jan. 21 at Allstate Arena followed by a 82-66 margin on Feb. 19 at Hinkle Fieldhouse...
