Noting the Blue Demons: The men’s basketball program is 1,371-850 (.617) all-time... the Blue Demons have knocked down at least one three-pointer in 536 straight games... DePaul’s last game without a three was Feb. 16, 1993 against UAB at Allstate Arena... the Dec. 22 game against Florida Atlantic was the 430th for DePaul at Allstate Arena... the Blue Demons are 307-127 (.707) all-time in Rosemont... DePaul is 3-1 all-time in games at McGrath Arena... the Blue Demons have used four different starting line-ups this season... in four games this season, DePaul has overcome a deficit of eight or more points... the Blue Demons trailed Oklahoma State (8 pts. with 5:54 left in first half), Stanford (11 pts. with 13:56 left in first half), Central Michigan (14 pts. with 8:16 left in first half) and Ball State (10 pts. with 17:54 left in second half) before regaining the lead... two players have recorded a four-point play this season... Cleveland Melvin was intentionally fouled a lay-up and made the two free throws against Ball State on Dec. 11... Jeremiah Kelly was fouled on a three-pointer and made the free throw against Loyola-Chicago on Dec. 18.

The Opponent - USF Bulls: USF enters Thursday’s game at 7-14 overall and 1-7 in BIG EAST action... the Bulls have dropped two straight on the road at Rutgers (71-62) and West Virginia (56-46) after defeating Providence (79-72) on Jan. 16... Augustus Gilchrist leads two players in double-figures with 13.2 points per game... he also leads the team with 6.6 rebounds per contest... Gilchrist is followed by Jawanza Poland’s 10.3 points per game... head coach Stan Heath is in his fourth season leading the USF program.

The Series: Thursday is the 24th all-time meeting between the two programs... DePaul holds a 15-8 lead in the series... in BIG EAST play, the two sides have split eight all-time meetings... USF holds a four-game winning streak in the series after DePaul won the previous six meetings... a year ago, the Bulls defeated the Blue Demons at Allstate Arena on Mar. 2 by a 63-59 score before knocking off DePaul again a week later, 58-49, in the first round of the BIG EAST Championship at Madison Square Garden.

The Last Meeting: USF defeated DePaul, 58-49, in the first round of the BIG EAST Championship on Mar. 9, 2010 at Madison Square Garden... the Blue Demons trailed the Bulls, 30-15, at halftime and were unable to overcome the deficit... Will Walker scored 20 points to lead DePaul... Dominique Jones also scored 20 points to lead USF... the Bulls led by as many as 19 points in the first half... DePaul shot just .226 (7-31) from the field in the first half while the 15 points matched a season low for scoring in a half... the Blue Demons outscored USF, 16-6, to start the second half and pulled to within five points on a three-pointer by Jeremiah Kelly with 12:34 left... that would be as close as the Blue Demons would get as USF scored eight in-a-row over the next three minutes.

It Could Happen: A win would end a 20-game losing streak against BIG EAST opponents (19 regular-season games/1 BIG EAST Championship game) and a 26-game road losing streak... Michael Bizoukas is playing in 75th career game... Jimmy Drew is playing in 80th career collegiate game (51 at Southeast Missouri State/29 at DePaul)... Jeremiah Kelly needs two assists to tie Randy Ramsey (219 assists, 1974-78) for 25th all-time... Kelly also needs three steals to tie Terry Davis (104 steals, 1989-93) for 26th all-time... Cleveland Melvin needs five blocked shots to tie Lemone Lampley (34 blocks, 1985-86) and Teddy Grubbs (34 blocks, 1980-81) for 20th on DePaul’s season list.
