CHICAGO - DePaul hosts the Providence Friars in a Noon start at Allstate Arena on Saturday. The visiting team has won each of the last four meetings in the series with DePaul winning two of the last three games against the Friars.

Saturday's game will be televised on FOX Sports Networks with Cory Provus (play-by-play) and Kevin O'Neill (analyst) handling the television duties. DePaul enters the game at 10-11 overall and 2-6 in conference play after an 86-69 loss at Seton Hall last Saturday. DePaul head coach Oliver Purnell is in his fourth season at DePaul and his 26th as a head coach at the collegiate level. Providence is 15-6 overall and 5-3 in the BIG EAST after a 61-50 loss at Marquette on Thursday night. Providence coach Ed Cooley is in his third season leading the Friars.

Following the Providence game, DePaul hosts Georgetown on Monday, Feb. 3 at Allstate Arena. Start time is 8 p.m. and the game can be seen on FOX Sports 1 and heard on WSCR 670 AM.

DePaul evened its BIG EAST record with an impressive 83-73 win at Providence on Saturday night at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. Cleveland Melvin led four players in double-figures with 23 points with the Blue Demons leading by as many as 22 points in the second half.

The Last Meeting: DePaul posted an 83-73 win at Providence on Jan. 5, 2013 at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence... Cleveland Melvin led four players in double-figures with 23 points with the Blue Demons leading by as many as 22 points in the second half... a three-point play by Donnavan Kirk gave DePaul its largest lead of the game at 62-40 with 9:58 left in the game... Providence closed the deficit to eight points with just under two minutes left, but the Blue Demons hit 9-of-12 free throws down the stretch for the 83-73 final... Brandon Young and Jamee Crockett added 15 points each while Moses Morgan scored 10 points off the bench... the Friars were led by 20 points from Bryce Cotton and 17 from Kadeem Batts.
