CHICAGO - The Blue Demons face their second straight ranked opponent when No. 6/6 Villanova visits Allstate Arena on Wednesday night. The meeting is the second this season between the two schools with the Wildcats taking the first matchup on Jan. 18 at The Pavilion. Start time in Rosemont between the Blue Demons and Wildcats is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Wednesday's game will be televised on FOX Sports 1 with Dick Stockton (play-by-play) and Kevin O'Neill (analyst) handling the television duties. DePaul enters the game at 10-14 overall and 2-9 in conference play after a 78-66 loss at 12th-ranked Creighton on Friday night. That loss extended DePaul's streak to a season-high six straight defeats. DePaul head coach Oliver Purnell is in his fourth season at DePaul and his 26th as a head coach at the collegiate level. Villanova - ranked No. 6 in both of this week's national polls - is 21-2 overall and 9-1 in the BIG EAST which puts the Wildcats on top of the league standings. Villanova coach Jay Wright is in his 13th season leading the Wildcats. Villanova won the first meeting of the season between the two sides by an 88-62 score on Jan. 18 just outside of Philadelphia at The Pavilion.
