Blue Demons Travel To Charlotte On Saturday
Records DePaul is 9-14 overall and 2-9 in Conference USA after losing to Louisville 76-72 on Tuesday at the Allstate Arena. Charlotte is 15-8 overall and 9-3 in C-USA after beating Memphis 75-63 on Wednesday at Halton Arena. Polls Neither team is mentioned in the Associated Press or ESPN/USA Today Top 25 polls. Series Charlotte leads series 11-5... the 49ers won the first meeting of the season 97-83 on January 29 at the Allstate Arena... Charlotte has won three straight... DePaul had won the previous three meetings heading into last season... since Conference USA began, each school has swept the season series each year. Coaches DePaul’s Pat Kennedy is in his 22nd season as a head coach and his fifth with the Blue Demons. He has a 393-271 career record, including a 67-80 slate with the Blue Demons. Pat, who entered the season ranked 30th in victories among active coaches, is 5-7 against the 49ers. Bobby Lutz is in his 13th season as a head coach and his fourth at Charlotte.
