CHICAGO - DePaul travels to Seton Hall for the first of two road games in four days. Following Sunday’s game, the Blue Demons play at Villanova on Wednesday night. The Blue Demons are in the midst of a four-game stretch with three road games. DePaul opened the four-game run with an impressive 17-point win at Providence last Saturday that saw DePaul lead by as many as 31 points in the second half. St. John’s put together a late run on Wednesday to hold off the Blue Demons, 77-76, at Wintrust Arena in the second game.
Sunday’s game will be televised on FS1 with Dave Sims (play-by-play) and Jim Spanarkel (analyst) handling the television duties. Seton Hall is 17-9 overall this season and 6-7 in BIG EAST action following a 102-90 loss at No. 4/4 Xavier on Wednesday. The Blue Demons stand at 10-15 overall and 3-10 in league play after the one-point loss against the Red Storm. DePaul head coach Dave Leitao is in his sixth season at DePaul and his third since returning to the program after leading the Blue Demons three postseasons in three years from 2002-05. Overall, the 2017-18 campaign is Leitao’s 12th as a head coach at the collegiate level. Seton Hall is led by Kevin Willard who is in his eighth season leading the Pirates.
