The Records

DePaul is 12-14 overall and 5-10 in the BIG EAST Conference after beating Syracuse 108-69 on Thursday at the Allstate Arena. Notre Dame is 14-12 and 5-10 after beating Providence 82-75 on Wednesday in Providence.


The Series

Notre Dame leads the all-time series 50-43. The 93 meetings are the second-most behind Marquette for any DePaul opponent. The Blue Demons won the last meeting 73-67 on January 7 at the Allstate Arena. DePaul also won the last meeting at the Joyce Center 84-73 on December 11, 2004. Notre Dame's last win in the series came on December 14, 2003 - 82-69 at the Allstate Arena. Current streak: DePaul - 2.


The Last Meeting

Wilson Chandler won the Wendell Smith Award as the game's MVP when he recorded a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds as DePaul beat Notre Dame 73-67 on January 7 at the Allstate Arena. Karron Clarke had 14 points and Jabari Currie 12 points and nine assists. Notre Dame was led by Colin Falls' game-high 26 points.


The Coaches

Jerry Wainwright is in his first season at DePaul and his 12th as a head coach. He is 198-158 overall and 12-14 with the Blue Demons. Wainwright is 1-0 against the Fighting Irish. Mike Brey is in his sixth season at Notre Dame and his 11th as a head coach. He is 215-120 overall and 116-68 with the Irish. Brey is 3-2 against the Blue Demons.
